Catholic Charties SUnday
"Truly I tell you what you did for the least of my brothers and sisters you did for me." Matthew 25:45
Catholic Charities’ mission, for over 90 years, has been to provide help, create hope, and serve all people of every race and religion throughout the Diocese of Stockton. This year, Catholic Charities Sunday
Appeal will take place on the weekend of September 14/15. The annual Catholic Charities Sunday Appeal is critical to the continued viability of Catholic Charities.
Catholic Charities has two sources of funding, grants and donations. Grants are an excellent source of revenue. However, grants are restricted funds. A grant is limited to specific services, to specific recipients, in specific regions. Catholic Charities cannot go outside of those restrictions.
Without the funds provided through unrestricted donations, Catholic Charities faces potentially having to modify current services. Unrestricted donations become even more critical this year as the results of the 2024 election could affect the amount and the terms, of grant funding available through federal, state and regional offices and departments.
By making a gift to the Catholic Charities Appeal, you will bring growth, love, healing, and care to people throughout the diocese of Stockton who turn to Catholic Charities in their time of need. Your financial support provides the means for Catholic Charities to continue its vital mission, supporting over 31,000 people each year with life-saving programs and services.
True healing happens when we all do our part. THANK YOU for partnering with Catholic Charities.
